"Ignore the unloved, unkempt garden that greets you. Inside is a TARDIS that is very clean and a good size with a large immaculate bathroom and generous bedrooms. Really enjoyed our stay."

"The barn is beautiful and has been a pleasure to stay at. The layout works well, from the large open living space upstairs to the two bedrooms downstairs. There is plenty of storage space although for the second bedroom, this is in the hall area.
We knew the area well as we had been on several previous occasions, staying in a property on the beach front. However, the ownership changed a few years ago and we have been looking for a suitable alternative and we have certainly found it....

"We stayed at this lovely apartment 19th-23rd February on arrival it was easy to acess and clean we are a family of 4 two teens who’ve both said they’d visit again.
The apartment is a five minute walk to the train station and the town and the beach is opposite.
Just a shame it weren’t pet friendly!

"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. "Nice hotel, beautiful location. Our room was clean although there were stains on the carpet which could have been taken care of.
I would not advise eating there, breakfast wasn't great. Also the dining area floor was very dirty, lots of dog hair. There is a robot vacuum under one of the charis but it looks like it hasn't been used in a long time, has quite a thick layer of dust on it.
Staff were okay, not very friendly"
"Room was clean. Comfy bed. Plenty of towels. Breakfast could be improved with more fruit, and varieties of cereal.
Shower in room 2 lacked pressure ,,& heat control requires attention"
"We had a really enjoyable stay here as a family. The welcome at reception was warm and friendly, which set the tone for the whole trip.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and the beds in particular were excellent. The bathroom was spotless, and the toiletries were a nice touch that made it feel a bit more thoughtful than the usual budget offering. WiFi was reliable throughout and the TV worked well, which kept everyone happy in the evening.
Breakfast was the one area with room for improvement. The food itself was fine, but the buffet could have done with closer monitoring. A few items ran low and were not topped up quickly, and at one point there were no clean plates available. Nothing that spoiled the stay, just a small thing that would lift the experience if the team kept a closer eye on it.
Overall a comfortable, well kept hotel with friendly staff. We would happily stay again."
"The hotel is a great place to stay - very well located on the promenade, close to Constitution Hill and not too far from the centre of town. The beach is directly opposite, perfect for taking an early morning swim as I did! (Just make sure the sea isn’t too rough). The hotel itself is a lovely period property - rooms are a generous size with a very nice en suite, large comfortable bed and plenty of furniture for clothes storage. My only slight gripe was that the toiletries could have been replaced a bit more frequently and also more milk provided for tea and coffee when it ran out. Despite being above a pub it was also incredibly quiet in the room, equalling a good night’s sleep (having said that, my room wasn’t seafront-facing so possibly that might mean a bit more noise - my impression is that Aberystwyth gets very quiet around 11pm onwards though). Breakfast was of a good quality with a range of decent cooked options that weren’t too much of the gut busting variety, including vegetarian and vegan alternatives. I also had an evening meal whilst there, a breaded pollock dish which was delicious followed by sponge pudding and custard - yummy! Lastly the staff were always friendly and helpful, giving info on local things when and where needed. Definitely recommended and if staying in Aber again I’d likely look up the Glen."
"Stunning surrounding scenery. Clean room with bare necessities supplied. Free Wi-Fi. Studio apartment not as new & fresh as advertised. Be aware of electricity charge at end of stay, bins"
"Loved this place, a small guest house directly on the promenade along the beach front, and in my case with a room overlooking the promenade with a beautiful view of the sea front. Very nice and helpful staff (Sam) asnd a nice small (cafe) and small gift shop. Really lovely place. The room was small for two, with two beds, and a little difficult to negotiate, and the room amenities were very basic. But the place is so nice overall and the location so great, I rate the place 4/5 for what it is (small guesthouse, not an upscale or modern hotel), even though there were drawbacks, I'd certainly stay there again."
"Hotel and room were really great. Location was brilliant on the seafront. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend. Only downside was the loud music from the wedding disco. This did finish at a reasonable time but something to consider if staying at a weekend."
