"I would like to give a HUGE shout-out to Miss Lisa at the front desk! She is absolutely amazing, and her customer service skills are truly out of this world. Having someone like her be the first person to greet you when you arrive makes you feel comfortable and welcomed right away. She has such a warm, friendly smile, is extremely helpful, and genuinely makes you feel like your family matters. This was my second time staying at the Hampton Inn Lumberton, and both times Miss Lisa was the person who checked us in. She is definitely someone I remember because of how wonderful she treats her guests. This most recent stay, I was traveling with my family because we were in town celebrating my brother's birthday. We had about 13 people checking in, and Miss Lisa handled all of us with patience, kindness, and care. She made the entire check-in process smooth and stress-free. The amenities at this hotel are also wonderful! The breakfast is absolutely delicious, and I love that there are different options each morning. They have a waffle maker, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, and plenty of choices for both adults and kids. My family definitely enjoyed having breakfast available each morning. After breakfast, they also have coffee available in the lobby throughout the day, which is perfect for all of us coffee drinkers! The pool was another highlight, especially for the kids. My son absolutely loved it! The mushroom waterfall was his favorite, the rooms are very clean housekeeping amazing."

"The room was clean, the staff were very helpful, the air conditioning was good, and the hotel location was great to where I had to be. The only problem I had was that the lights between the beds went out, and the front desk said that the breaker kept tripping as he tried to restore the lights. He offered to move me to another room, but it was too late, because I was already dressed for sleep."

"Some of the rooms are hit and miss. Some have harder beds which make for horrible sleep. However the room I had, had a nice soft bed with soft pillows. The staff is very accommodating and helpful when my room key wouldn't work anymore. You can't beat the price and it is located next to an amazing Mexican restaurant."
