"When first opening the door it was dark and very plain looking but everything was there. My girlfriend said the tub had a little diry stain on it and I saw it too. It was on the outside of the tub. But the inside of the tub looked clean enough to take a shower.. After opening the shades the room did look brighter.
The food (breakfasts) were good down in the lobby. And the lobby was clean too-nothing too too clean -just clean. Clean enough to have breakfast!!
The parking lot lights were good and bright at night in case anyone had a late arrival.
I think the hotel is good enough for a 1 or 2 night stay....
The staff that works there were very friendle and helpful. I would say they worked in a very professional manner.
I think I would stay there again..."
"Clean room. Helpful staff. Hot breakfast. Workout center had more equipment than your typical hotel. We were there on a weekday so it appeared most guests had at least one empty room between them which meant noise levels were very low considering the rooms are not carpeted. Would stay again."
"My whole experience was great from start to finish. The room was clean and stocked, the front desk person was beyond friendly! I walked into the lobby and was very impressed at what I saw. I would 100% recommend this location to anyone."
"We have driven by The Country Inn of Berkeley Springs so many times and finally decided to stay for couple days to see what it’s all about. The hotel is very quaint. Its looks well worn but taken care of. We stayed in the Betty Lou Suite and it was very nice. The bed was super soft, the space in the suite was great. Only drawback was the bathroom. The layout was adapted to be more modern but the shower is uncomfortably small and the bowl sink is pretty much useless.
We ate at the Inn for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was decent, good price and service was very good. Kind of gives off a Cracker Barrel vibe. We had dinner on the patio (which I highly recommend). The patio space is very comfortable and service is great. Really love that they offer Chinese food options on the menu - the steamed dumplings were very good.
The Berkley Springs area is interesting. As mentioned we have traveled through Berkley Springs for many years and seen it go through many phases. We had hoped to visit shops and businesses while we were there but sadly most were closed. Other than Proof Whiskey in town there wasn’t much to see or visit. Hope that things open up again."
