Great place to stay. Room with a view!

"We had a lovely week staying at this beautiful hotel. Had a room with sea view and balcony which made it even more special. The room was comfortable clean and staff friendly. It would have been even better if it had a fridge and if the complimentary coffee etc was not just a welcome gesture. Thoroughly enjoy our stay. Would love to return."

"We walked here from the train station with our luggage in under 20 minutes. I think we got upgraded to a top floor, lovely corner room with a nice view to the south. Location is great to walk to the Promenade or anywhere else you want to go. The street itself is tree-lined and away from the bulk of the tourists. I recommend the nearby La Niçoise bakery if you’re there Monday to Friday. They know some English, but always ask before you assume because place caters to locals and the lucky tourists who find it. "

Good stay

"We liked the hotel and the staff. They went out of their way to accommodate us. When the elevator didn't work and I couldn't walk down the stairs the last day of our stay, all hands were there to help. I stayed at the hotel a lot since I got sick during the stay and the staff was very helpful in letting my family and friends visit me. Loved the bed. My husband wishes the shower were a little bigger. "

"The room and hotel in general were very clean, the reception staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel is only a 4 minutes walk from the train station which was convenient to get around (and about a 25 min walk to get to downtown Nice). Although it says it in the name, I wasn't aware that the place was also a "residence" (retirement home), so the building is shared between them and the tourists, which was kind of funny to see. The room was only cleaned once throughout our stay, which can be explained by it not being only a hotel. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Cote d'Azur."
