"Overall the hotel is good, there are only a few things to consider: room was clean, but there is evidence wear & tear in some parts of the room, the shower stall is too small (I had to move in 45 degree angles to turn around), only 1 oz shampoo/body wash combo is offered- for the price you would think they’d have the larger dispensers. There is no mini fridge or separate closet space, but rather a closet/coffee counter/heater in one. And there is limited outlets. Another consideration (no impact to rating), the nearest tram (line 2) is undergoing improvements and the alternative bus route is unreliable or very busy. While the walk to the nearest metro station isn’t too bad (15-20 minutes), you must consider that when booking."

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Medici. This quaint property was exactly what we needed for our family of 4 to explore Rome in two short days. Our room was huge and clean. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good and service was wonderful. Great location for walking to the Trevi fountain, Colosseum, etc. Fabio at the front desk was exceptional. He directed us to his favourite Sicilian restaurant which we all thoroughly enjoyed. He was very kind and helpful. We loved the character of his hotel and would go back again!"
