"Not exactly what I was expecting for the rave reviews I looked at. The hotel seemed dated, but clean! I don’t really know how to explain that, maybe my expectations are a little higher than I’d like to think. Otherwise staff was super friendly. It and is a quiet property. "

"This is an older hotel, but it is kept up fairly well. Some of the things like the televisions and telephones in the rooms are dated, and may not work, but it’s a bed, a continental breakfast and a hot shower for a decent price."

"The iron didnt work properly until I moved it to a different outlet but it still did not steam. Overall it was very clean and spacious . Most importantly...they made accomodations on the first floor for my 90 yr old mother with health issues. "

"The front lady was really nice and welcoming. The location is great if you will be going to Gruene Hall. Room is spacious. They have kitchen stocked and they even give you popcorn. They give you lotion, and shampoo,conditioner brand of dove. So was thankful for that. Floor is hard no carpet. "
