"Lynda's accomodation is designed for both form and function. There's enough seating area outside for every type of weather. When it's sunny you can sit in front of the house or lie in the grass, when there's rain you can huddle inside or sit under the canopy. We had some trouble finding the accomodation, so make sure you double check the address beforehand, but Lynda was a dear guiding us there and was always available for questions during the stay. Stokesay inn and b and b

8/10 Good

"We were attending a gig a Ludlow Castle, most accommodation was booked or expensive at Ludlow for the night of the gig so we chose to stop at Stokestay Hotel because there was a train station close that we could catch there and back. The Stokesay staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent and bar prices good so we would not hesitate to stop there again."

"The only negative was we were not informed that they do not provide food on Sunday or Monday evenings but there are places within a 5 min drive. The room was very clean and bed was very comfy. As it was exstreamly warm we were provided a life saver fan. All staff were very welcoming and attentive and worked very hard. We had no noise at night as it’s situated in a quite village. Breakfast was perfect every morning with plenty of choice. We would definitely recommend the Talbot hotel to our family and friends. Thanks to every one for a great stay."

"We stayed in the comfort suite. With the exception of a slightly strange smell, which was easily rectified, the accommodation exceeded our expectations. We would happily stay there again. Facilities were excellent, towels extremely soft, addition if bath robes were very welcome. The hotel garden had amazing views. Only downside was parking could be a little restricted."

"Our fourth stay at the Metropole in recent years.A privilege to stay in such a unique historic building,with yes a little patina around the edges.If you dont embrace the nostalgia then budget chain's are available.The staff here are so good,as is the breakfast and the pool and spa facility.A great location for roadtrips around mid Wales,and a huge car park."
