If you get chance go to Old Felixstowe. There is a little ferry boat which takes roughly 5 minutes to go to Bawdsey Bay or just take a stroll along the shingle beach. There are 2 cafes and a pub and a fresh fish shop. Beautiful. 5 min from the hotel
I used to live there and was visiting a friend of 50 yrs who husband has cancer he had a hospital appointment on the Friday so I went to support my friend
Clean , nice beaches,,restaurant at the spa pavilion food was stunning, service was fantastic.
The town is high up with steep hills to get down to the promenade & beach, once on the prom it is relatively flat/clean & tidy It has a pier (but you can't go to the end). The prom has places to eat, stroll & sit. Parking was OK
It is a laid back place, ideal place to de-stress yourself from London. The walk along the Prom is excellent, tied in with a nice new pier with a bar and sundeck that is clean and tidy. It is still a place that feels like a seaside resort of old !
Very little litter, gardens and promenade kept very nice. Lots of good walking, including great area at Landguard. Pet friendly places easy to find. Will visit again.
