"Wonderful stay! The hotel was pristine-recently renovated and sparkling clean. The room was huge and had everything we would ever need. The staff were extremely gracious and helpful. I wish I could give a higher rating than 5! Only downside is that it’s a steep hike up the mountain from the train station. The hotel provides transportation but you may have to wait a bit. We were sucking wind by the time we dragged our luggage to the top!"

"Amazing place This may as well be the Ritz of Switzerland I entered Interlaken on the hotel search and found this hotel. It’s definitely not Interlaken but may be much better ! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!"

"The staff are very friendly. A cute hotel on the Main Street on Wengen, very accessible to the train station. Clean place and provides a good breakfast spread with lots of options. Tip: if there is an option take the hotel facing the street."

"We had a fabulous short stay here. The hotel is very close to Wengen station and we managed to walk up the hill with our (small) cases without too much bother. Check in was with the lovely Miriem (sorry if I've got that wrong!) who showed us around and gave us plenty of information about the hotel. The room was good (deluxe double with balcony), beds were comfortable with plenty of space. Bathroom was basic but clean. There were lovely little welcome touches, such as a personalised card and biscuits. There's a kettle (hoorah!) and a coffee machine. But the absolute best part was the incredible view, which actually brought us to tears as we were so overwhelmed. We were lucky enough to be in a corner room with two balconies so had morning coffee on one overlooking beautiful chalets and the valley and evening drinks on the other for sundown. We made use of the outdoor swimming pool (6 francs) which is just a few minutes walk away and we had a quick walk through the town which looked very lovely and lively. We'd planned to go for drinks and some live music but were too tired from our excursions to Interlaken so just enjoyed drinks on the hotel terrace instead. We popped to Lauterbrunnen to see the waterfalls as this is only a 10 minute train ride down the mountain. We were also lucky enough to meet the hotel's resident dog, Caramel, who came to give us a friendly welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and definitely recommend this hotel. We will be back!!"

"Seehotel Jaegerhof Hubertus is one of the best places to stay if you’re visiting Switzerland. Beautifully located right by the lake with a nearby beach, it offers a peaceful and scenic setting. You’ll find several restaurants within walking distance, and it’s only about 10 minutes from the nearest train station. If you’re driving, most major tourist destinations across Switzerland are easily reachable in under 30 minutes. The hotel has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are exceptionally clean, and the beds are very comfortable. While there’s no air conditioning (which is common in Switzerland), it’s not needed—temperatures drop significantly at night, ensuring a restful sleep. The amenities are a great bonus: free on-site parking, reliable internet, and a fresh, delicious breakfast served every morning. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, convenient, and scenic base for exploring Switzerland."

"Lovely hotel, nicely located, luxurious and friendly staff. Most importantly, air conditioned rooms. The breakfast was good but unfortunately they had delicious selective options available that we didn’t know about until our last morning out of four we spent there. Aside from the breakfast buffet there was a piece of paper put on the table that we thought it was part of the table decoration. When we picked the paper on the last morning and flipped it open it had different breakfast offerings (fried eggs, omelets, etcs) that you could order from the kitchen. It was really delicious upon order. We wished they had mentioned this during their welcome every morning when they asked for our room number. I think I’m still coming back to this hotel."
