Top Fernhill Gardens Hotel Reviews
The Glen Quarter
8/10 Good
"We arrived very late into Kinsale after official check in hours (and apparently there is no personal guest check in anyway), and were given instructions on how to check in and where to park and the staff were very responsive via the Expedia app. However, the hotel is not well marked at all - there’s a tiny sign outside the property which looks more like an office building (white smooth exterior, modern looking windows) and it’s on a busy road with no place to pull up or double park to unload luggage. More clear instruction on where (front of the housing? Back of the building? There are at least two separate locked entrances) would have been helpful. All parking behind the building was full so we ended up dropping our luggage behind the back building (which is not where our room was located) and then parking 400m uphill at a free lot and then wandering along the street to find the front of the building where our room #2 was located. Once in using a code for the front door and a lockbox for our actual room key we found a lovely room with king bed and spacious bathroom and patio with two chairs that we didn’t have time to use :( The bed and linens were great and the location is wonderful for walking around town. Just not great for driving/arriving at the hotel. I loved Kinsale and hope to return and next time I’d stay at the Trident Hotel which is on the harbor and has an easy on and out parking situation!"

Blue Haven Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice hotel. Right in the middle of town. Great restaurants nearby. The regatta was happening the weekend I stayed so it was pretty much a party at night. Loud music at the restaurant next to the hotel. But I wasn’t bothered. I travel with foam ear plugs."
