"Room was clean, Ali took extra time to make sure we knew which direction to head in when we needed an ATM, Taxi, or how to get to the different tourist sites. The traditional breakfast was delicious, they explained the significance behind each dish and how it was made. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a great stay at Dar Magic Fes ✨
A beautiful new place that has only been open for a few months, everything feels fresh and well cared for. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay, always making sure we were comfortable.
The food was delicious, and the location is perfect for exploring the Medina of Fes — everything is close and easy to reach.
They also helped us arrange an amazing Sahara trip, which was a highlight of our journey!
Highly recommended for anyone...

"What a charming and eclectic Riad! Staff was amazing, and breakfast was always wonderful. The Riad is in a great location to explore the Medina and there are great places to eat just a short walk away. The dinner we had at the Riad itself was wonderful as well. Would definitely book again if I were to return to Fes!"

"We had a fantastic stay at this Riad that we ended up spending one more night here.
Starting from the beginning, we were welcomed with freshly brewed mint tea. The host offered us lots of usual travel tips and also checked on us regularly to make sure we‘re alright.
The room is spacious and decorated beautifully. The breakfast consists of omelette, coffee, different kinds of bread, butter and home-made jam. Everything was served directly at the table…it felt exclusive and the portion was...

"Riad Fes Maya is a stunningly beautiful building. The room we had was ornate and spacious, but dark. Natural light filtered in from the courtyard at the expense of privacy, a concept implicitly understood by the other guests. We enjoyed dinner on the rooftop deck twice during our stay and found breakfasts enjoyable as long as we could stay out of the hot late May sun and out of the glass enclosed room where most guests sat. Staying here in late spring was a constant challenge to stay cool.
The woman running the Riad, Sama, is pleasant but not always helpful, despite her well-meaning efforts. The Medina tour she arranged was free but consisted in substantial part of visits to shops where pressure to buy goods was palpable. She told us the Medina was gated and closed at 7 pm each night preventing anyone from entering or leaving, which was not true, as we has dinner inside it our second night, escorted to and from another riad by a bellboy. Our departure to another hotel in time for a rendezvous at 9 am was nearly missed, despite being reserved ~3 months in advance, due to understaffing.
All in all we enjoyed our stay as a bit of an adventure. Hearing the call to prayer on the rooftop deck from mosques all across the Medina was an experience not to be missed."
"This is a gorgeous riad. The ground floor rooms are beautiful as well as the inner garden. The rooms and common spaces are very clean. The rooftop is very pretty.
The breakfast is Ok, including fruits, bread and pancakes.
There was a problem with the piping when I was there and I had to insist quite a bit to get a new room because I was offered to stay in the room while using a common bathroom in the hallway, which was suboptimal for many reasons. Having to insist was disappointing. I was eventually given a new room."
"This Riad was perfect and has everything you need: breakfast, dinner, a beautiful scenery and spectacular rooftop views of the Old Medina. The staff were unbelievable especially Fatima, Mohammed and Fakima.
This is the Riad to stay if you want to have an unforgettable experience in Fes."
"Our room was perpetually damp. The sheets and the pillow were always damp. The AC seemed to not work or help with the problem (although we didn’t ask about fixing it bc it took a while to realize the problem). The fan in the bathroom didn’t help much either. The room was only turned over once on our last day. Towels were worn out and yellow. The owner was kind of awkward and made some weird comments. The man at reception all the time was very nice and accommodating. The terrace also had no lounge chairs or shade, simply just a couple chairs and tables. Only saving grace is the breakfast which was great (apart from a stray hair found in the food on day 1). The courtyard was very beautiful and the location is very central but quiet."
