Unfriendly staff. Didn’t feel welcome.
"Rooms weren’t very clean. Ants in the room for example. Staff weren’t very friendly upon check in. We came in at 6.30pm and asked if we could eat in the restaurant. We hardly was allowed dinner as they were closing down. So we rushed through dinner and generally didn’t feel very welcome. Beds were ..."

"To be correct, I bought the single room, which was comfortable but needed a shade so people could not look in. Overall the place was great, friendly, and delicious food and service was excellent. I look forward to my next visit"

"Staying in an historic schloss in the eastern German countryside was a unique experience. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful, though communication was a bit disconnected at first. The Schloss is well off the beaten path - but very charming."
