We enjoyed playing tennis and walking around the grounds, the kids enjoyed the playground and of course the swimming pool was bliss for all. "Fantastic relaxing and peaceful stay. We stayed at Abbazia for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary and we did not want to leave. Our stay was absolutely wonderful; the rooms are wonderful and the staff our so accommodating and friendly. The spa prices were very reasonable and I was impressed at the variety and quality of the many treatments they had on offer. The food was delicious with a different menu every day and dinner in the restaurant with the view of the Umbrian hills at sunset was beautiful. The two pool areas were clean and we enjoyed a very peaceful few days of sunbathing. I do recommend hiring a car for your stay as the prices of transfers or taxis are staggering (as taxis have to come from Assisi or Folignio) or if you plan to travel to any of the neighboring towns like Assisi, Montefalco or Perugia which are about 28 mins from the hotel by car. We definitely can’t wait to return soon and stay for even longer next time. Grazie mille bellissima Abbazia Collemedio! "

"I like that it was close to the town of Orvieto and that parking was easy. The food at the restaurant was so delicious! There were two pools with snack bars which was amazing! The staff was so polite and nice. 10 out of 10. "

"This was my family’s favorite hotel during our trip to Italy. The room was luxurious and spacious, the service was top notch and the pool was an added bonus. We loved the breakfast options and the dinner served at the hotel was one of our favorites of the entire vacation. We had a rental car so were able to take advantage of the proximity to Montepulciano and Pienza. The wine served at the hotel from the on-site winery was very good. We can’t wait to go back!! "

"The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I got a flat tire the day I was leaving the hotel and the staff went above and beyond to help me get the tire fixed so I could be on my way. The hotel is beautiful and the food was excellent. I also requested a more private room and the staff changed the room for me right away. Highly recommended for beauty, serene peace and quiet "
