"This cottage was lovely and had everything you needed. Owners are great and on standby if you need anything. I was there for work and had to sleep in the day. Black out blinds very helpful and rooms comfortable and cosy. I also managed to explore some of the area and is a lovely place to go to on holiday. "The hotel is in a small pretty village, in walking distance of the beach , a pub a local shop and coffee shop and a beautiful church that was once an abbey. The staff were amazing and we had every thing we needed for a comfortable stay. We had lovely food at the Grain store and as the weather was good there was plenty of outdoor seating . Would highly recommend."

"Scarborough Hill Country Inn is a a gem! We were pleased to be offered a room upgrade when we arrived as we had initially booked a small double room and a larger room was available. We were very happy with the room offered - bright, airy, thoughtfully furnished and extremely clean. An extensive range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate were provided in the room along with complementary water. The restaurant was busy, however staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars for the food as both evening dinner and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The garden areas were well tended and there is plenty of seating for guests to relax. We will definitely visit again!"

"The room was spotlessly clean with lovely new carpets and bathroom. We stayed in an executive suite which had a lovely view of the golf course. It was a very hot weekend and the window hardly opened with no air con (just a fan that did very little as the large window let a lot of heat in). If it had air con we would have been very happy. Breakfast was very nice, lots of space everywhere, and our room was quiet even when a party was going on in the front of the building. The swimming pool/sauna/steam room included in the price and a nice relaxing thing to do (just need £1 for locker and they lend you towels). Staff were all friendly."

"Apartment was clean and well resourced. On-site swimming pool was clean, with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Staff were very helpful and communication through text message was excellent. Parking was in a main car park at the top of a very hilly site with a 40 yard walk to carry luggage up and down a fairly steep hill."
