Absolutely lovely place to stay for our last night in France before heading to the tunnel - well within easy reach of the terminal. The accommodation is great - we wouldn't have minded it being our base for the whole holiday.

Quiet, out of the way, but still close to Calais. We chose because we needed parking with our trailer. The included was adequate but there is no restaurant currently.

Great hotel and location but abysmal wifi

I chose this hotel as it was inexpensive and close to the tunnel without being in Calais. As a stop over it is ideal, clean safe with ample parking. The room was comfortable and I slept well. The only negative I have is the wi-fi which was so bad that I gave up.

Handy overnight stay for Eurotunnel

No one at hotel to welcome us on arrival and no answer to calls on help line and no reply to message left on answerphone. After more than half someone appeared to let us in. Again no one around at breafast time, But good location, good parking and a fresh breakfast was left out for us. Good location for Eurotunnel.

Property fallen into disrepair

The photos on their website were obviously taken when it was first built. Now it is semi derilict with no restaurant. Breakfast only after 8 am Receptionist seemed angry we had come. Advise noone goes there as website completely misleading. We left immediately

The Ferme du Grand Air is described as an unassuming boutique hotel and indeed it is, but charming. My wife and I somehow booked an apartment for five people, but as no-one else was staying in the hotel we don’t know what other accommodation is available. The apartment is nearly 50 square meters, with kitchen and a large bathroom with laundry, so it would suit a family with teenage kids, but toddlers might be a problem on the stairs. The apartment is at the top of a very steep and narrow staircase which makes carrying a suitcase very difficult. Anyone with mobility issues should not attempt access. The restaurant was closed so we don’t know anything about it but there is an exceptional restaurant - La Ferme Gourmand - about five minutes drive away. It’s very popular and you need a reservation. Breakfast is served family style with all guests around a circular table and consists of the usual pastries and crunchy fresh baguette, jams, cheese, fresh fruit and drip coffee. Onsite parking is free and onsite and your stay will be more enjoyable if you speak some French. La Ferme du Grand Air is probably a better experience for someone who can unpack and stay for a week, rather than overnight like us, but it’s a beautiful location in the countryside, very quiet and tranquil. Recommended.

A l occasion d un mariage nous sommes passé par l établissement ,très bonne accueil appartement duplex très bien manque juste un plateau de courtoisie Le repas privatisé au restaurant excellent Le petit-déjeuner copier manquer juste des oranges pour un jus d orange frais après ce n est qu’un détail Tout était parfait Nous reviendrons certainement pour un prochain week-end

Helaas was het eten in de kleine koeling aan het ontbijt niet altijd even vers, daar zouden ze iets meer aandacht aan mogen besteden. Voor de rest vriendelijk personeel en leuk met de diertjes aangrenzend aan ons verblijf. Kleine tip (maar misschien wordt daar nog aan gewerkt): een volledig overdekte schuilstal voor deze dieren, niet enkel een open afdak.

Nous avons passés 2 nuits avec nos trois enfants , le logement est tout équipé et propre. Le personnel est accueillant. Superbe petit-déjeuner. L'emplacement est très calme . Les côtes se trouvent a une vingtaine de kilomètres . Recommandé et à refaire certainement.

Excellent séjour

Nous avions réservé la chambre pour 5 personnes. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la propriétaire qui a tout fait pour que nous nous sentions bien. La chambre était très propre, joliment décorée avec une très belle vue et la literie était confortable. Le petit-déjeuner en supplément était délicieux avec des produits locaux. Bref, nous recommandons à 200% !!!

Lovely room for 5 people.

We booked this place last minute for a family of 5. We were able to get a room for all 5 of us which is rare. We were late arriving and the owners we're patently waiting for us which was very thoughtful of them. We didn't stay for breakfast as we wanted to get away early but we were shown a lovely breakfast area with complimentary tea and coffee. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a lovely shower room. It was very reasonably priced and it's pleasing to be staying in an independent local hotel rather than a chain.

Convenient for Eurotunnel

Very convenient stop-over on the way back to Eurotunnel.A bit difficult to find even with the help of Google maps and more information either on the listing or the roadside would help. Very helpful and friendly reception.Excellent large bed, radiator, chairs, shower etc. Decor a bit tired and stain under a window that was difficult to open and close. TV small and difficult to start because had to change the set-up to connect aerial. Happy to stay again.
