"Great rooms, immaculate, comfortable, air conditioning good when I worked out how to work it. First remote was broken but reception quickly gave me a replacement. Rooms very spacious. Good breakfast selection. They took orders for coffee, the rest was buffet. Very helpful with taxi and directions to chemist due to me being unwell. Beautiful breathtaking views from breakfast table. We would definitely stay here again. Right in centre as well, 20 mins or so walk to the castle, 5 mins from river...

"Welcomed by kind staff and good breakfast and location to access to old town and restaurants & cafes. "

"The hotel is very basic. The room lacks soundproofing, which means we hear every outside sound. At breakfast, only the fruit was tasty. The service from the breakfast staff is good. They are attentive and serve you quickly. The advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the Berat bus station."

"We stayed here in May for three days (see our review) and loved it so much we had two nights on our way home in September, just as great. Parking right outside, lovely clean spacious rooms with such comfortable beds, and even though it is in the middle of everything it is quiet so you get a good nights sleep. The owner is lovely, as are the staff especially the housekeeping lady. Good food in the restaurant and five minutes walk to Lunar park to promenade with everyone after dinner. Love it,...

"This is an excellent hotel. Very comfortable. The level of cleanliness was beyond anything that I have seen. It looked brand new. Breakfast was excellent too. A variety of fresh food with fresh fruits and vegetables too. Convenient location with stores and restaurants close by. Helpful staff. Very safe Area. Improvement: This is typical for Europe, but the open shower soaks the bathroom floor. The music being played by one of the restaurants or people was very loud on Saturday night. "

"Fantastic hotel with the kindest staff. The location was perfect. The room is clean and the windows were huge! We were awoken to birds chirping in the morning and were surprised to learn they were pet birds kept in cages below our window. Great hotel with easy parking, easy walking distance to the castle. "If you want to be in the heart of Berat, then this is your spot. It is the finest hotel in the city. It is a very large hotel with superior amenities. If you are looking for quaint little mom and pop type accommodation, then you will want to go a different direction. You can walk to most all attractions Berat has to offer from this location. "

"We had a great time at Te Gjyshi. Located right by the fort and owned by the restaurant, with the same name, that has a long history of serving guests in Berat. The place was newly renovated and the views were better than shown in the pictures. Restaurant served delicious Albanian cuisine and you received a discount for being a hotel guest. For breakfast you didnt get a choice to choose qhat you would like but what they served was again delicious. We especially loved how close we were to the fortress, and the old town was a short distance down hill. Going uphill after a day of exploring is a bit of a work out but manageable. Overall, loved our stay here and would definitely come back. "
