"The good: great location- walking distance to restaurants, coffee, shopping. Great staff- very friendly and helpful. Clean facilities. Comfortable beds.
One area in need of improvement: the pool has no restroom, and allows kids at all hours. The hot tub and sauna were filled with loud, splashing under 10's with parents looking on. Not sure if the hotel can regulate the hours better but "no kids 10 and under after 8 or 9" may be better. And who knows- that may have just been our experience.
Overall good hotel. I'd stay again."
"This used to be our favorite hotel. We stayed here whenever we would visit family in the area. But ever since they have done renovations it’s gone super down hill. It was always perfectly a lower scale hotel but ever since they got rid of the carpets and put fake tile, everything echos. You will hear your hotel neighbors through the walls using inside voices, and I can hear my husbands grandpas phone from the other wall clear as day watching the mariners. We will not be staying here again. The bathroom gets drenched with water when you shower, you hear anything and everything. Staff is so nice though. "
"Surprisingly clean and updated rooms. Mattress was better than some places. Entering the facility was awkward. It felt like you were entering a prison (not that I have been in one). You had to use your key card at EVERY SINGLE DOOR (two to enter the front desk area and one more just to get to the hallways where the rooms are). The parking lot was large, but full, this place stays pretty full all of the time. The staff were friendly, but they were not your “typical” hotel staff, they looked a little rough. Nothing ever happened, or was observed, but I have been to places where I felt safer. I would not recommend this place to a solo female traveler, or expensive vehicles.
Big things were it is cheap (word correctly chosen), clean and fairly comfortable. Just remember that this is an extended stay, so you get a motley crew of fellow inhabitants.
One other thing of note. Not all rooms have blackout curtains, so if you work overnight, makes sure you get one that does. Some only have mini blinds and even at night it is still quite bright in the room. "

"Made reservations on Expedia only to be informed upon check in of a “service fee” or “amenities fee” that had to be paid in addition. When I called and asked about the fee the man at the desk was rude and told me if I had an issue with it, take it up with Expedia. "
