"Absolutely loved our stay at Denali Overlook Inn. Peaceful, view was breathtaking, all staff were gracious, pleasant, and extremely helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. When staff heard of my husband's slight food allergy, they immediately suggested an alternative solution and it was delicious!! Would love to stay there again!"

"The check in process was very clear. We appreciated the post it notes left out for us to label our kitchen items. We only stayed one night but did interact with other guests while we were there which led to a helpful tip on a fun activity! It is close enough to walk to downtown Talkeetna if you're willing to take a shortcut through the woods. Unless you're wearing mosquito netting be prepared to be swarmed on that part of the path. The accommodations are exactly as advertised. Everyone there was respectful of the rules and of that fact that there are shared bathrooms."

"The house is tucked away from the main road making it quiet. It's about 15 minutes from downtown Talkeetna so if you go there you'll need to find a place to park. The house itself was ideal for our family of 4. The porch is inviting and comfortable. We saw a couple of bald eagles while sitting out there. There is a binder with local attractions and the house rules and procedures. My only issue is that the binder didn't match the directions sent via text/email for a couple of things. It was a moot point in our case but there should be symmetry with the check out time among all sources. Also, the trash policy was unclear in situations where the transfer station is closed, which we encountered as we checked out on a Sunday. We ended up hauling our trash with us for a while until we were able to find a place to throw it out."
