We had a relaxing stay at the golden magnolia! Lisa was amazing and helped us With snacks and dinner reservations. The warm mineral pool is my favorite.

Great experience. This is like a bed and breakfast with more of an upscale private room feel. we really enjoyed staying here. Expect friendly staff, amazing views, and trendy looking rooms. Don’t expect a hotel front desk. This is not a chain. It’s a hidden gem at the beach. The breakfast was made to order and fabulous with ocean view.

Really hard to find fault. Amazing staff, managment and amenities. The ocean view is a plus, the property is unique and cool. Yes, we did enjoy our in-room jacuzzi. Very clean and all in working order. I suggest champagne and strawberries, and do NOT miss the breakfast.

Birthday trip

It was our first trip to Flagler beach. We went to celebrate my husband and I birthdays. Pros-breakfast was delicious, free parking, happy hour with one free drink And mini cheese board, two nice pools, and beach was right across the street. Cons-noisy toilet, hard to get front desk help after 5 pm, room Could use some Upgrades.

Golden Magnolia Resort & Spa is truly a hidden gem in the Daytona/Flagler area of Florida. My husband and I came across their property on Expedia when we were looking for places to have our honeymoon at, and I’m so glad I came across this one! The customer service at the property is top-notch (specifically the manager Maria); the amenities are great; and the restaurant on-site is fantastic! Their spa services are also great, which we recommend checking out. Loved everything about this place and will definitely be coming back for a weekend getaway! 🙂

Very nice facility. Dining area offered wonderful views of the Atlantic. Food was prepared excellently, and was great. Most comfortable bed linens I've ever slept upon. Was difficult to get anyone on the phone. Service was less than desirable, and we had no housekeeping service at all. Our stay was two nights.

Property was in need of repairs and updating. No staff at all. Nobody there to schedule or get information on spa or anything. Grounds are overgrown and need landscaping. No bath towels and television doesn't work. Back door with key pad doesn't work. Had to enter through dining room door that was left unlocked all the time. No thermostat in the rooms. Only one that controls the entire facility which didn't work very well. It's not what is advertised or shown in the pictures.

This was out third year at this property. While we love the location and many of the amenities, there has been staff turnover, and as a result, inconsistency. We stayed in the main hotel which was noisy at times. The mattress on our king bed was badly worn and not very comfortable, though the staff flipped it for us. Definitely not worth the price of the room. Lisa and the spa were great.

Quaint beach hotel with very ‘quaint’ decor. Stayed in Flamingo room which stood by itself. Would want that room if we return. Did not take part in spa messages etc. but heard they are the best around. Did go in the very nicely warm mineral bath right outside our door. Excellent included breakfast in grand room and outdoor pergola overlooking the waves! Marie was server , chef, bus person, front desk and concierge all in one. Try her waffles for sure! She made our stay extra special! Denise made sure we had everything we needed in our spotless cottage on the beach!

So let’s just start by saying that when I first got there, there was no one there to greet us. The property was completely empty and abandoned. I called the owner who claimed that she was on vacation and out of the country even though I spoke to her three days prior, she claimed we never to her so she called manager of the property who was nice but was completely unaware that we were coming. There was no food there, and the breakfast was extremely mediocre to say the least it was always late and we never had any snacks or food. We stayed on the entire property by ourselves and while we were there, a family had come stating that they were preparing for a wedding however they had to put out money just to have the pool cleaned and property somewhat fixed up even though that’s the owners job. I never heard back from the owner and the so-called manager was doing her best but we only saw her for about an hour or two a day and then she vanished until the next day. No one was available for questions or things that we needed and come to find out the managers were being sued for fraudulent activity and appear to be running attempting to flee the country. Although the property itself is very nice it is not well maintained and the owner just takes the money and runs. I would not recommend staying here at all because you will likely be scammed and no one will be able to help you. I have yet to hear back from the owner. I would rate this place a two out of 10 . NEVER stay here!
