"We stayed here on a drive back from Croatia to the UK. It is pretty out the way from anywhere especially when we stayed as everywhere in the small village was shut. The property was unique clean and good fun to stay in. We cooked dinner and were amazed by the dishwasher. The views from the main room and dining area were beautiful. Easy check in and out"

"The chalet was amazing. We enjoyed being there so much. The heated tub, sauna and speaker made our stay enjoyable. We cooked a simple dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed. "Visit Grundslee and the stay at the Mondi Hotel if you are looking for a quiet, scenic, and romantic getaway. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Susanne at The front desk was particularly helpful and friendly. We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms at the hotel. Get a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the lake. You won’t regret it. Hotel rooms a clean and spacious, even for our party of 4. The breakfast was included and was very, very good. They also have a pretty good restaurant. Again with great views of the lake. On the downside, there isn’t very much for kids to do. There is a very, very small playground close to the lake but that’s about it. You can walk along the lake but the kids are over it in a couple of hours. The grounds could be challenging explore if you have mobility issues. Somewhat hilly. Grounds need a serious landscape redesign. Great for couples but I would spend more than one day with young kids."
