"My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. "The property is close to downtown La Fortuna. It's right off the main road, which I loved. There's a security guard at the gate at all times. This made us feel safe. The rooms were spacious and fully stocked with bathroom toiletries, minie fridge and coffee maker. No microwave however. The breakfast was buffet style with many fruit options and pastries. It also had an omelet station. We enjoyed it very much. The whirlpool hot tub was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We truly felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay very much. I highly recommend staying here when in town."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Corin from July 14th through the 17th. In my opinion it’s small to be a resort but the place is beautiful. The staff was very attentive to our every need. I love the fact that it was not crowded. July is considered the rainy season and the off season. That’s probably why it wasn’t crowded. If you don’t like crowds consider going during the month of July. The weather was perfect, maybe in the low 80s during the day. We experience a shower or 2 but it didn’t last long. I would definitely recommend this place. "
