Located just shortly after the entrance of the National Park. There’s a restaurant, pool, shared bathroom. Dinner is a little costly for the quality of food. Bathroom is clean. A stink odor outside the bathroom was there our whole stay. Never had time to use the pool and the lounge at the second floor from our room. The rooms- space is limited, small room with only fan. You can open the window to get some air but air is hot also. Very hot. Couldn’t sleep properly the night. The bed looked nice but dusty, trigged sinuses and sneezing myself to sleep. Parking is available. Expectations vs reality hits hard.

Lovely place in the Tikal Jungle. Food was delicious. We stayed in the Hostal (without private bathroom) but the showers and toilets were close by and cleaned regularly. I understand that everything needs to be brought in but it would be nice if drinking water was available to fill water bottles instead of the constant need to use plastic bottles. Perhaps a goal for a greener future.

We recommend this property if you want to disconnect and be in contact with nature. If you are planning to see the sunrise at Tikal -is a good choice to stay in this hostal because of its location. Food is average.

I had mixed feelings about my stay. While the hotel presents itself as a leading option in the area, I honestly expected better basic amenities. Some essential things were missing for example, there were no bed sheets provided in the room, which is something very simple but important. Another issue was with the shared showers in the common areas, where the water was constantly running hot and couldn’t be properly adjusted. This made the experience less comfortable than it should have been. That said, I want to highlight that the staff were friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciated their attitude and effort to help. Overall, I believe that a place positioning itself at this level should offer more complete and better-maintained facilities.

I loved this stay. It’s located in the jungle of Tikal and you can watch monkeys climb in the trees while enjoying dinner in a place that feels like an adventure. The restaurant and facilities are very attractive and exciting. You are in the jungle so there are bugs and critters, but the hotel is clean and comfortable and feels like an archaeological expedition with a bar. The staff are excellent and I’d like to leave a special shoutout to Braner at the front desk. He was great! The food is a bit expensive and subpar but the opportunity to wake up and explore the ancient Mayan city of Tikal is unforgettable. Truly a once in a lifetime excursion.

A diamond in the jungle

I can’t say enough about this amazing location. I arranged the shuttle for $25 USD for round trip transportation and had to adjust the time due to a late arrival and they were very accommodating. It is within walking distance to Tikal which is very convenient especially after a long day of exploring. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The restaurant, bar and pool onsite are all exceptional. I used the shared bathrooms and showers and they were constantly attended to and very clean. Perfect Hotel

The hotel is perfect, in the middle of the national park and just a few steps from the entrance to Tikal, it is easy to walk to the archaeological site from there. The negative point was the shuttle hired to pick you up from the airport to the hotel. The driver kept using his phone while driving, then he hurried to make up for lost time and ran over and killed a dog. Terrible.

We had the a fantastic time. This is the most amazing hidden gem in Guatemala. Whether staying at the hostel or hotel, the staff treat you as if you are the most special guest they’ve ever had. Fantastic food at the very chic and cute jungle themed hotel restaurant, which was an average of $20 per person for a very upscale meal. Rooms are a good size and cute theme, very clean sheets. The pool is a perfect temp and the pool area is so cute. Everything is on theme and very comfortable which I love. You feel like you are transported to a little jungle bungalow next to the ruins and it was one of the best parts of our trip. If you are planning on going to Tikal this is the hotel/ hostel to chose.

This was the best stay ever! This property is fantastic! It has a very tasty restaurant, caring staff, a nice pool, and its location in Tikal is amazing! One of my favorite things about this hotel was how the wildlife was right outside your room! I saw birds, monkeys, and pizotes. This hotels location was perfect to enjoy the parks- I booked a sunset tour with the hotel which was also AMAZING! This hotel was an entire experience in itself and I am so happy I was able to stay here.
