"The Cliff House is a unique and more upscale property compared with the usual chain hotels in the area. We always stay at this hotel whenever we visit Colorado. Despite being in the tourist heart of Manitou Springs (Pikes Peak area), the hotel provides a quite and calm atmosphere. Although some of the rooms are small, they provide all conveniences needed for their patrons to be comfortable. We enjoy the cuisine in The Cliff House restaurant and like the bar area. On our most recent visit, The Cliff House was (and still is) undergoing renovations. The renovations did not impact our visit. We are looking forward to our next visit."

"Excellent room with a tiny bathroom, the room was huge but unfathomably the bathroom was so small that you had do the shuffle to close and open the door - who designed this .... seriously?? They have a great breakfast and do a good job to keep the trays full even when the place is packed. Talking about the crowds ... this place seems to be popular with church and school groups (for what ever reason) .... e had 2 or 3 of these groups staying when we were there so be prepared to wait in line for breakfast or to get the elevator. The location is great for Garden of the gods or for Pike's peak."
