"A little hard to find. Very quiet and safe. There are restaurants very close. Someone was parked in my space and the ones on both sides of the parking spaces were handicapped. So I had to park 5 spaces down. That wasn’t too bad but a little inconvenient."
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham St Clairsville/Wheeling
10/10 Excellent
"A renovated room and hotel is always nice. Staff was great and breakfast was more than I thought. Biscuits and gravy, egg and potatoes plus. I would come back anytime."
"For the price, this was a GREAT hotel. Conveniently located right off the highway with plenty of choices for food. Mattresses were comfortable. Pillows were plentiful. The air conditioning was pumping out nice chilly air when the outdoor heat was a hundred degrees. And the free breakfast buffet was freshly made with hot eggs and sausage, good coffee, and plenty of fresh fruit, juice, and muffins. I would definitely stay here again if I were on the road an needed a safe, quiet, and comfortable place to lay my head. Staff was friendly and helpful. And Schlepp's across the street is a great place for a down-home dinner."
"My overall day was good. The room I stayed in the tub function wasn’t working and the microwave was goofy to use. Breakfast was OK, a standard buffet breakfast. I do wish they had waffles instead of pancakes though. The staff was very helpful and the place isn’t too far from the mall and I-70. Once you get past St. Clairsville, the whole area has a Silent Hill vibe so make sure you have your GPS AND/or good phone coverage so you won’t get lost at night time which is very easy to do since for the most part there are no lights (lot of rolling hills) at night except for your vehicle. Was visiting Family with Family so I need a place to stay to fit mine. Would come back again."
