"Very happy with our stay but the noise from other guests at the hotel shouting outside the lobby doors that went on until 3am kept us awake so that by morning we were exhausted from lack of sleep. Surely something can be done to stop this. It spoilt our stay."

"Absolutely spectacular period hotel and suite! Ocean and garden views. Amazing spa bathroom, mini kitchen (and pod coffee maker)! Beautiful salon lounge. Lovely staff. We're on our honeymoon from Australia and could not had wished for a more charming and elegant place to stay. I wished we could have stayed longer!"

"The hotel is small, but it has a big heart! All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. It seems the property is undergoing some renovation and refurbishment but this did not hinder our stay at all. Bear in mind it is an old building and the rooms are quite small. "Our holiday via the shuttle got off to a bad start as we had to return home 3 hours into the journey to collect a forgotten vital item. Consequently we arrived at the Marquis of Granby (via a typical M25 traffic snarl up) after the kitchen had closed down for the night. Without being prompted, we were offered soup and cheese board by Silva (the manager). Beer was good and bar staff cheerful. Excellent all round."

"Nice enough property that was easily walkable to town. The room was cleand and comfortable. Staff were nice. WiFi was fine. No smart TV so no netflix or casting. Breakfast was fine. We had dinner at the resturant the first night - upon reflection, we felt it would have been better to have had dinner elsewhere because no IPA on tap and just plain pub food that wasn't the greatest. It was a good hotel for two nights."
