"Lovely hotel in a great location for exploring Folkestone. We upgraded to a superior double room which was very spacious as was the en-suite. Very tastefully decorated, comfortable king sized bed. Partial sea view. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we look forward to a return visit. "

"I loved that my dog got a welcome doggie goody bag on check-in and she could eat breakfast with us. Very clean, modern and lots of choice for breakfast. Will definitely stay again. We stayed the night before as we caught the channel tunnel the following morning which was convenient."

"Based on the property description, I was expecting something different. It is a room in an old house. The proprietor was kind, helpful, and accommodating. It was enough for one night and the price was right, but I likely wouldn't return. We had problems with the WC. The location was good, close to the train station and walkable distance to the seaside and city center. If you have an allergy to dogs, pass on this. Pets aren't allowed in the rooms, but the owners have dogs in the building. Also, luggage storage was a listed amenity, but they do not offer that service. "
