"This hotel was mostly good. There was a lovely big pool and hot tub. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was very nice and the staff at breakfast kept everything very clean and were helpful and friendly. The lady on the desk was lovely, too.
The downside of this hotel was that the area where my room was (in a 'motel style' block not part of the main building) was very badly lit and didn't feel particularly safe for a woman on her own. The lighting was so bad that I couldn't read the room numbers from the car, and actually had to get out to read them!
I could only see one entrance to the building from my room, but it was locked and I had to walk right round to the front of the building. I was told there was another door, but it wasn't visible from my room as it was behind a couple of transport containers. When I mentioned to one member of staff that it didn't feel very safe to walk across a dark and secluded parking lot / storage yard, he said "Oh, you're safe here", which is not a helpful thing to say to a woman travelling alone says she doesn't feel safe."
