"Nice environment and very beautiful view. Lots of nice swimmingpools and enough pool-beds for everyone. Easy to move by buses to everywhere (bus-stop nearby). Breakfast was very bad, no fruits or vegetables, only dry bread and biscuits. You had to ask for Croissants and sometimes you got only one croissant. No Wifi. The shower was very, very small and you had to fix long before you got warm vater (not cold or too hot). The cleaning was not daily. The renervation (balcony floor and common rooms)...

Il Gattopardo Hotel Terme & Beauty Farm

2/10 Terrible

"I had an absolutely horrible experience. The gate was not open. The taxi driver took me to the hotel right across from the entrance and that hotel said this one had not been open for over a year. I cannot get them to answer the phone or return my emails. I put in a cancellation and a report with Hotels.com to refund my money. However, I was still charged. I will fight it with my credit cards. They said they had to verify the information because check-in was not until two. However, it did not say there was not an office to hold your bags or anyone to talk to. Absolutely ridiculous. Being stuck on the other side of the world and not having a place to stay. It worked out even better though cause I stayed at a much nicer hotel where I was treated kindly in with respect."

"Loved it here. Rooms were basic but clean. The pool area was amazing!!! Several pools and all were kept nice and clean. No bugs no mosquito bites. Breakfast was wonderful options along with great service! I did have some wifi issues on the 3rd floor but they moved me to the 1st floor. They said there were some issues beyond their control that few days. Great location for restaurants and transportation!! Would definitely recommend and I would love to come back. Family owned and service was great. Very friendly and helpful!"

Hotel Grazia alla Scannella

"We booked it as it was rated very high with positive reviews. In reality it is a mixed bag with some positives and some disappointing things as well. Our room was called a "Superior", however there was nothing Superior. No coffee machine, no kettle, no iron, not even a complimentary water. Instead, it was just small fridge with drinks. I was explained that fridge is reserved for "pay for" drinks and that own drinks will incur extra charge. Breakfast is exact same every single day and very basic, definitely not 4 star level. Dinner is for set price only and all drinks, wine is extra. So, if you want just a glass of wine and local fish it is not possible to order. Instead, you are charged 35/40€ pp for all you can eat type of dinner. Location is nice and clean though with nice views. Staff is friendly and helpful. It just is a pity that few little things and their strange terms weren't to my satisfaction."

"Every aspect of the hotel was outstanding except the fine dining which was appalling. We had better food on the flight over. Some of the courses were genuinely inedible. This despite a restaurant with outstanding service ambience and wines. Mezzatorre seemed to not understand that their guests understand what quality meals should taste like and how they should be presented."

Ravino Secret Retreat

"We just returned home after 5 nights at Ravino, after visiting Venice and Rome. This was the perfect, beautiful, and relaxing end to our two week Italy vacation (me, my husband and two daughters 23 and 20). The grounds are breathtaking - a desert garden labor of love that you can get lost in. The views are equally breathtaking. The location is perfect - about a 20-minute walk to town or the the beach/thermal gardens or easy bus access. If you prefer a private taxi, they will happily arrange it. The staff act as your personal concierge service if you would like - recommending exactly what you are looking for. Upon the recommendation of Jasmin, we spent at day at Maronti Beach at the property of Restaurant Ida - accessible by a bus or taxi to Sant Angelo and then a water taxi to the beach frequented mostly by locals. It was a special day we will never forget. Jasmin, Lucio, and (owner) Luca were incredibly gracious, helpful, and welcoming. Thank you all for your hospitality and charm :) We look forward to visiting you again."
