"Nice clean spacious property with great views and very quiet area. Easy enough to walk to town center 10-15 min. Nice pool area and staff were very friendly and helpful. Always responded quickly to any queries. Be aware that if you have mobility issues there are lots of stairs to get to the hotel and rooms."

"Absolutely incredible stay at Casas Brancas Hotel in Buzios. We stayed two nights in the summer and cannot speak highly enough of this place—we just wish we could have stayed longer. The staff is definitely one of the highlights. Both Juliana and Gabriel were very kind and helpful. We had an early booking for a boat trip that required us to leave the hotel at 6 a.m., and they prepared a little breakfast bag for us to take on the go. The rooms are beautiful. We had one with an ocean view and a small balcony—sublime! The food at the restaurant is delicious, as are the drinks. Breakfast is also amazing. The hotel is very well located, just 5 minutes from the center (Rua das Pedras) and about 10 minutes from some lovely beaches. The only thing I’d like to point out is that there are quite a few stairs, so keep this in mind if anyone in your party has mobility issues."

" I had a great stay at Forno Guesthouse. The room was clean and modern. The view from my pool view room was spectacular. I have stayed at several places in Buzios over the past two years. So far, for me, Forno is the best location, and I plan to stay there again because of the scenery, its proximity to the beach and City Center, and the property manager, Filipe, who understands how important customer satisfaction is. "Bucaneiro is centrally located so you can easily walk to downtown to the east and also to Praia do Forno, Praia Brava, and Rocka restaurant. The bathroom is quite small but there was enough space in the room for our luggage. Only 1 person on staff really understood English but he helped us with our bags up to the room and showed us around the property. The pools are amazing and it's nice having the chairs and cabanas to lounge around. The food from the bar was good for a quick snack during the day. "
