"Room with private external bathroom in this historic home that was like a living museum. Excellent value for money. Large, spacious with everything we needed for a good overnight stay. "A very cool location and history to this converted building. Our room was very white and clean, a tribute to its past I'm sure. Staff were almost all great. Our waiter would go a long way if he smiled or at least pretended he was happy to have this job. Overall a good experience."

"Puro Dao is one of my best hotel and spa experiences. To start with the location; It is located in the outskirts of a charming village in the countryside. There is a station 2 minutes away so you don’t need a car to get there. Once you inside you fell relaxed and very welcome by the lovely staff. Everything is perfect from the different climate smart light to the materials and over to the furnitures and interior design. The Spa is amazing and so is the outdoor pool in the garden. The nature surrounding the village is great for hiking and there is different hiking trails. After the hike I recommend a treatment in the spa, I got a hot stone massage which was heaven. Finally, don’t miss the great local wines and food in the restaurant, or the breakfast. "
