"We were looking for a clean, comfortable, budget friendly room. This place met that criteria very well. There has been a lot of construction and final touches are being done. The pool was good and breakfast was also good. Once final construction is done, this should be a good reasonably priced option in the area."
"Absolutely wonderful, secluded little place to stay! I was a little worried with it being right next to Lowe’s, but I hardly noticed at all! And to be honest I didn’t even know there was a hotel back there! Surrounded by trees, it’s the perfect little hidden getaway! Building was well maintained and super clean, very very quiet inside, lovely gas fire out on the patio. All in all an excellent stay!"
"The hotel was built in the 70’s and you can tell when you’re inside. We stayed for three nights and housekeeping did not visit our room once. The internet was spotty. Breakfast was not very good. The property is large and looks abandoned in many spots with no lights on. My room key stopped working multiple times."
"Lighting in the lobby was dim, entry doors smokey and key card didn't work after hours for those doors. Staff were not visible at front desk, had to ring a bell several times for service. Door to room was not aligned properly, had to forcefully close with weight of body. A lot of traffic from other guests, some shady looking characters. Front desk staff accused my young adult sons of not having a room, even threatening to call law enforcement for them sitting in breakfast area, causing me to come down to verify our room; initially the staff insisted no one was occupying that room. It was eventually cleared about but the staff were not welcoming and stereotyped my sons. Although the room was clean, there was an unidentified bug observed on the wall. We were there 2 nights for a memorial for my father, so we didn't spend a lot of time in the room; but I would not book this hotel again."
"Our room was recently updated and beautiful. I think the bed was the only thing that hasn't been updated. While we were still able to sleep, we could both feel the springs in the mattress. The grounds were well maintained and the breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast. We would definitely stay here again."
"This is a perfectly reliable hotel. It is average to above-average in every respect. Everything is fine, perhaps a little worn, but fine. I would say that it is not worth what we paid for it, $155 via Hotels.com. But then, just about anyplace costs that much these days."
