We enjoyed a 1 night stay in room Loch Lochy and would definitely return. The code check in was really simple and the entrance area was fresh and modern. The room itself was even better than the pictures, the finishings and detail were great ans the space itself was very relaxing and benefits from a lovely outdoor terrace with table and chairs. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and the lovey views from here with a coffee. This area did have a divider between the other rooms terrace and ours and I think we would have preferred if it was a little higher for privacy, but that’s our own preference and also due to us having our dog with us. Tea and coffee were delicious! During our stay the fire alarm went around 1am and the manager was on the phone and out on site extremely quickly. Great system in place and we appreciated the managers response!

It was a great centralized location for the areas in the Highlands we wanted to visit so we could have a hime base for a few days. The check-in instructions were emailed to us plenty of time in advance giving clear and concise information. The cleaning staff were extremely accommodating, going above and beyond to meet our needs.

Fort Augustus stay.
The Rooms werw nicely appointed and a good size. We did have an issue regarding the emergency light coming on in the middle of the night and stayed on for 3 hours. As there are no staff on site to resolve the problem we had to improvise as it could not be turned off remotely. The employee we contacted was as helpful as she could be from a distance and we were given a bottle of Prosecco as an apology. Though we were told its not the 1st time that this has happened in one of the rooms so may need to have a plan in place should it happen again. Once again the member of staff was lovely and did what they could so no complaint regarding her service at all. More to do with their proceedures especially as not staff local to resolve any issues immediately. It would not stop me staying again if we were planning to visit the area again.

The room was clean and so spacious. Loved having a view of the locks. We had car trouble and the staff let us stay past the checkout until our tow truck arrived.
