"This is the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. The hotel lobby smelled like mold. The room smelled so bad I had get my own room air freshener. The fridge smelled like vomit. I spoke to the front desk regarding the issue. One person said they would notify maintenance. The second person said they would notify housekeeping. Issue was never resolved. The toilet seat wouldn't stay up. It took over 10 minutes for the hot water to heat up just to take a shower. The trash in the bathroom near the lobby was overflowing for two days in a row. The paper towel holder was never refilled in the lobby bathroom during the entire three day stay. There was no offer of compensation for the nasty conditions. Breakfast was served every morning and kept clean and well stocked. The washer and dryer worked well."
"Our very late check-in was greeted w/front desk associate announcing she had cancelled our prepaid 2-day room stay…because it was a 3rd party reservation, it was a whole ordeal. Initially, she was dismissive, on the verge of being rude. But after an hour worth of hassle, we finally got our room and she was able to “comp” the initial 1/2 day stay. Getting to bed at 5am was not how we wanted to begin our time there. Also, finding the previous guest’s leftover bar soap in the shower was GROSS. AND, during the entire check-in fiasco, we saw a sign on the anticipated pool that it was OPEN, but since their heater was broken, was likely to be too cold for our enjoyment. Later, we tested the even more looked forward to Hot Tub temp and discovered it would also not be relaxing. Disappointed for sure! The rest of the stay was unremarkable except for the wonderful conversation had w/the breakfast attendant on the first morning. The second day staffer was fine, just not as friendly. "
"The property is nice and the staff is excellent. The only complaint I have is that Expedia says there is a full size refrigerator and a microwave in the rooms. However there is only a half size refrigerator and no microwave. The staff at the hotel has told Expedia on numerous occasions, but they won’t change it in the description. Also, I was there Sunday through Wednesday and many things are only open Wednesday through Sunday, so I can’t speak on some of the onsite amenities."
"We love this Inn, we go every year. My only complaint is that for the first time our bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows were as thin as paper. New pillows, please!!!!"
