This was our 2nd visit to the property. The rooms are very nice and the staff is exceptional! It’s walking distance to the beach and restaurants and shopping. The outside looks like they are doing some repairs and the lighting wasn’t working on the outside of the property making it a little difficult to see as you’re walking up the stairs. But overall a wonderful place to stay and highly recommend!

Excellent!!!
Amazing, just amazing, check in was easy, no waiting in lines, they text you before you get there the room number and key pad code, hotel was super clean, plenty of towels, complimentary shampoo, conditioner, soap and even coffee. Pool was clean, people where friendly, no drama, very quiet, everything worked. And a block from the beach, and not over priced, I will definitely be back!!

Gut renovated rooms that are spotlessly clean. I also enjoyed the shining clean tile floors instead of the standard carpet. It looks like a beat up old motel from the exterior. Decent location a block from the beach. You check in with a. Door code so I never saw staff.

I would not recommend Honu Cove to anyone. My personal experience wasn’t enjoyable at all, everything is very old, broken and the rooms smelled really bad. The stairs were completely broken as well as the pool. It looked like they are in the middle of renovation however I haven’t seen anyone doing any work my entire stay.

Comfortable, but lacking a few things
The room was very clean and inviting -- that was the positive. The only negatives were that there were no toiletries (shampoo, lotion, etc.), but we always bring our own in case. Also, there was a coffee maker, but no coffee (packettes/pods) to use with it. And there was one glass and one cup in the cabinets, so not really useful for a couple. But, again, it was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable, which certainly is the most important thing!

So over all the place is very clean an nice but in the description it says there’s a pool yes it is but you cannot swim because it’s not up to code smh then it says there’s a kitchen I was like great I can cook but there is no stove just a fridge and microwave in an entire kitchen I was very disappointed because I booked this room off those options then outside the stairs going up has no railing it’s spray painted on the stairs stay off no caution tape it’s just ghetto looking on that part other than that my room was very clean great bed bathroom great and clean an luckily my room was not on the second floor lol

Feel good "Mad Men" vibe motel
I was pleasantly surprised to stay here. The hotel has a "mad men" vibe to it being it's from the 1950s. The hotel is still under construction so the pool is "closed" due to a permit waiting to go through but it's still swimmable. It's a few blocks away from the ocean and strip so it's a great location. I did find it strange that there were no hangers in the closet and that there was no ice maker (but there was a fridge in the room) on the property but overall, it was worth the price. Just bring clothes hangers.

Great place, definitely a budget option but for the price and being that close to the beach it was great. Rooms are big, they are redone but a little cheaply, but that didn’t bother me and it was very clean. I would’ve really liked to have coffee in the room, since there was a coffee maker. check-in was very easy.

Honu Cove Terrible hotel to stay .
the worst hotel I have visited, no soap , no champu for hair or conditioner , coffee maker but no coffee or sugar, the pool was not functioning with an advised to not use it by the city, one of the stairways was broken, the bed was not comfortable and no way to have personal contact with person on charge of facility.

Old motel new renovated. Bed comfortable firm. Cute shower bath. AC good w remote. Renovation still not all finished and pool heating seems not working so water too cold in winter season. Kitchenette no sink nor cooking stove or hot plate. But staff is nice working to get more toasters for all the rooms .

Clean, easy to access room, close to beach! Nice
We have stayed here twice and it is very clean and pleasant, it is close to the beach and it has a small pool. They are doing some more construction on it but it didn't bother our stay. The shower is low volume but it is clean. Could use a couple more chairs in the room if it is double beds. Dinning is within walking distance, if you are healthy. Urber drivers are available.

Do not stay here.
Never made it in the room. The worst costumer’s service ever. No o e at the desk. Said to ring the bell. No one answered. Called the number and recording said no one was available and they would call back. After 45 minutes I had to call hotels.com to help. After another 15 minutes they was able the get the general manager. He was rude and blamed it all on me. Do not go here. There are many hotels in the area. Don’t go here. I canceled my reservation and they kept the money and then charged me another 36 dollars. No idea why.

Good for in a pinch, but otherwise I’d pass
Check in was easy. The front door was hard to manipulate. There were multiple drywall patches throughout the rooms. There was a water spot on the ceiling above the shower. One of the outlets was burnt from overuse. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The room was so bright at night from the outside lights with no curtains to help darken it.

We've stayed here before and it has been a wonderful experience which is why we kept coming back, however not sure what happened this time :( even though we waited for the room to be "cleaned" when we walked in it smelled like that room hadn't been opened in ages, the towels were dirty, and the bathroom was very sticky and gross but what truly did it for me was the cockroaches in the bathroom. Truly dossapointed our stay this time :(

Pool was totally empty with green rotten water on the bottom, but property advised as pool available. Not even 1 spoon inside the kitchenette cabinets. Plates all dirty with old food particles. Beach nearby covered by sargasso. It’s not a hotel fault, but be aware especially traveling summer time, you can’t go into the water because you just can’t get in and walk through 10 ft of sargasso and it scratching you as well. On top of everything else we were overcharged by hotel $104,50. I booked through Expedia and made a mistake with a dates, I cancelled right away and it suppose to be free cancellation, but hotel never refunded my money for that first reservation. Nobody ever answer the phone calls or emails. I needed to file a dispute with credit card company and went through the hoops (big time!) to prove myself right in this situation, it took me over 2 month to get my money back because hotel was fighting for that money and I don’t understand why??? It clearly stated on Expedia email that cancellation is free and my payment for cancelled reservation should be $0. Just pure greed!!!
