"Booked the caboose in August 2025 for a trip in August 2026 Received confirmation then and again 2 weeks prior to trip. On arrival I was told they had double booked but they had a different train car . It was OK but disappointed they gave mine to someone else. Very cramped but for 1 night....we survived."

"Front desk staff was amazing very polite and courteous. The room was clean but did have a little musty smell to it. Nothing a little cleaning of the air-conditioning wouldn’t fix was a little sad that the hot tub wasn’t working but it was 115 so why do you need the hot tub overall was a great experience"
