"This fit the bill especially for the price, we loved the pool, and it was a good solution if you're just looking to lay your head, but the property needs a little TLC! Location was great for accessing both Sanibel & Fort Myers, and the pool was certainly a highlight. Breakfast was also great with gluten free options for us including eggs, sausage, Udi's bagels, and yogurt, indoor and outdoor dining areas, although I wish it started at 6am instead of 7am. Biggest knock was our room was musty. We had to empty the dehumidifier when we first arrived, I know it's FL, and while the bathroom was somewhat recently updated the room itself was less so and could likely use some new carpeting and AC unit to help resolve any ongoing moisture issues. The dehumidifier also squeaked so loudly we had to turn it off at night. One of my biggest pet peeves is when tropical locations don't have enough drying hooks for towels / swimsuits, this bathroom only had 2. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but mostly for reasons aside from our room!"
