Very very clean. The employee's are very nice, friendly and appreciated. . The Lobby is beautiful, the breakfast was great. Best biscuits and gravy in a long time. Will be back next year!!!!

Decent stay
We found dirty underwear in our room behind the door upon checking in, and also had no working tv in living room. Were told it was a maintenance problem and they couldn't help us.

We were looking for a hotel with ample parking for our big trailer and we found it here! Gentleman at the desk was wonderful and offered discounts as they only had 1 room left! Room was great and clean! The lounge was super fun! Defiently stay here again!

A room on the east side of the hotel overlooking the river would’ve been nice, but I got to look out at the parking lot instead. ;-) I was only there for one night and I worked from my room and slept. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had more offerings than expected too. Appears to be the best hotel in Pierre/Fort Pierre based on other hotel reviews. Will only stay at AmericInn if in town overnight again.

This hotel isn’t fancy, but it was nice and clean and the people were friendly. The room did smell a little weird and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. I don’t think it lives up to the “Excellent” rating. The outdoor seating area on the river is lovely.

One disappointment. The walking path shown in the pictures is not what I expected. What you see in the pictures is almost the full extent of the path. It is very, very short. The pool flooring is very nice. Not slippery and also foot friendly. The view from the room was great.

Over all good experience
Beautiful river front view, Room was clean, service was great, I slept well. When I showered the drain wouldn't keep up or drain completely, then the bathroom sink wouldn't keep up either. So over all good experience just needs some maintenance.
