Brian, I'm so sorry for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay, it is absolutely our responsibility to correct the wrongs when they brought to our attention. As for your receipt, unfortunately; we are not able to provide receipts for reservations book through third party, expedia is to provide you a receipt after you've made prepaid for your reservation.

Vivian, We apologize for the inconvience this caused you. You did have a reservation with that you reserved through third party, and unfortunately the credit card used to book your stay, declined. When the card does not go through we make sure to reach out to the guest or to the third party to get in contact with them. In this case, they were contacted to reach out to you and it was confirmed that they did try to reach you but had no luck. At that point, the hotel manager has to release the reservation because the reservation was not gauranteed due to the credit card we had on file and we hadn't heard back from third party on if they've reached you.
