"The clerk couldn’t find my Hotels.com booking and made me pay separately for the room.
The cheap heat pump sounded like a cement truck breaking down.
We left at 5am after an awful night’s sleep.
This place is a dump. "
"Manager was rude. He didn’t want to be bothered or could care less. Ended up not going or staying at the hotel because a family offered a room instead and we wasn’t refunded the money from the reservation. Email receipt said no charges would be made until arriving at property and reservation would be lost if not arriving upon a certain time. Not one time did it specify that charges would be made to my account even if we never occupied the room. Also did not specify that we would be charged anyway if it was canceled. "
"It has been sometime since I last stayed at the main stay maybe since 2014. You use o be able to get to the hotel from the adjoining parking lot but not that is blocked off so if you are coming from the mall or Dover Downs you have to pass the hotel and make a u turn to get to it. Very annoying when you are sleepy from traveling. Or just a long day they should open that back up. "
"Rooms smell terrible. One of our rooms smelled of Marijuana and the other like mold. Our ed spread had stains. The door to the room you see as you come up the stair case had streak of something all the way down the door. Although we asked to switch at least one of the rooms we were told they were booked solid. Which was not true. There were rooms next to mine that were empty the entire stay. There are very large rat traps in the check in area and there was condom wrapper in the staircase up to our rooms. We were there for a soccer tournament and our teenage girls felt unsafe. I do not know how this place has higher than a 5 rating. The staff behind the counter were not friendly. "
"It smells like smoke supposed to be non smoking but there has been a lot of smoking in this room. And the hotel tried to mask the smoke smell with very strong air freshener which is making it so much worse.
My eyes hurt from the smell and I have such a headache "
