"Samuel at the front desk was very helpful. I was given a room on the second floor and then was told there was no elevator. As I am older and did not feel comfortable, dragging my luggage up the stairs he gave me a room on the ground floor. The hotel is older and had a funny smell in the hallways. I felt safe enough. I could not find the remote for the TV and called Samuel. He came with several remotes and finally found one that worked."
"A few months back we drove 5 hours to stay at this beautiful resort. After being checked in for about an hour we decided to go look at the pool. My 5 year old daughter was so excited to go swimming that she was skipping down the hallway. After we got back to the room & started getting ready for the pool, we received a phone call on our room phone asking if we had a child in the room. First off what a weird question. After responding yes, we were told that my child was being obnoxious & that we needed to keep it down because the owners were staying there & complained. I was absolutely flabbergasted. I thought my husband was joking at first. My child skipped maybe 10 steps down the hallway & that is considered obnoxious? It also was early in the evening & the resort was not busy whatsoever. We immediately packed up our stuff & went to another hotel. We were shocked & couldn't believe what had happened. You'd think the owners of the hotel would want a positive customer experience. We will never go back."
"The front desk staff was very rushed, barely said a word and just hurried us along during check in like we were burdening him. The TV had maybe a handful of channels that actually worked. The hot tub is nice and hot, but it’s so full that as an adult I couldn’t sit in it without half of my face being under water. There weren’t any dirty socks under the bed like the last time though!! (Assuming that last part…I was afraid to check.)"
"Very quaint cabin, well decorated with a wonderful view from the hot tub. Cleanliness left a little to be desired. Very comfortable beds and the heater works well. Seemed to be per friendly, as I saw some doggies on my stay. The back stairs appeared to have some damage from the ice, the host assured me it would be soon fixed. "
