Since it is a student accommodation I was prepared to a less confort, but our family stay was great. The place super clean and the person working at the registration desk was wonderful. "The property is excellent. 5 Stars!!! The problem was that we went to the address given on the confirmation but nobody was there to talk to. Since we had no WiFi available we could not contact the phone number supplied and nobody sent a reply when we finally had a WiFi connection. Luckily for us, one of the residents across the street came and contacted the people at Urban Retreats. "The house was nice and quiet. It was advertised with a view of the ocean, however the hedge was so tall it was not possible to see over it for the view. In addition, the house could use a few basic instructions on the switches, stove, washer/dryer, etc readily available, in addition it would be nice to have a few more hand towels and hooks so guests can hang them to dry. Overall the place was a solid performer, lots of room to spread out; not walkable to a town but a short curvy drive in."

"The Maldron Hotel South Mall in Cork is a great place to stay—clean, modern, and just a short 10-minute walk from shops, restaurants, and city sights. The rooms are fresh and comfortable, with cozy beds and surprisingly roomy bathrooms. Perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The staff were incredibly helpful. They held my bags for several hours after checkout and even called a taxi to the airport without me needing to ask. That kind of thoughtful service makes all the difference. And when you're hungry, you don’t need to go far. Just head downstairs—every meal I had there was delicious."

"Everything was amazing. We stopped by early in the day and Michael helped us stow our luggage. Came back later in the evening and Aisling helped us with check in. Breakfast was worth the extra charge. The room was clean and comfortable. Aisling helped us again with checkout and got us set up for the shuttle to the airport. "
