We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. "We had read mixed reviews but thought we’d give it a try for one night and judge for ourselves. Hotel is a stunning building but is definitely showing its age, however we found it clean fit for purpose. The room was clean and had everything we needed including fan, iron, ironing board, hairdryer. The outside terrace was nice, although we had to go to the downstairs bar to get a drink. We did not try the breakfast so cannot comment on that. The downstairs bar was nice with plenty of seating for groups small and large. I’d give it 9 out of 10 and would definitely go back again. Thank you!"

"I was in room 10 which was very nice but it was next to the kitchen so you could hear the extractor up until about 8 pm also you couldn’t have your widow open during this time. The rest of my stay was perfect, breakfast choice and quality very good ,evening meal very good, staff excellent and ample parking. Outside at the rear was a lovely large garden with plenty of seating for drinks. This was my second visit this year and I would definitely stay here again."
