"Beautiful little boutique hotel in the heart of the Douro Valley. You are essentially staying at a vineyard! They have a lovely pool for relaxing. The rooms are quaint and spacious, and the facility itself has a lot of character. Breakfast was scrumptious with a lot of variety. Highly recommend! My only feedback to the hotel is to ensure staff offer the complementary wine bottle upon check-in as we had to ask a couple of times for this & received it at the end of our stay…. otherwise, no issues at all."

"This is a great find, the owners and staff were all super helpful and friendly. The room and the bathroom were quite spacious, and had a wonderful large balcony, with plenty of seating. The grounds were clean, and well maintained, the pool area is beautiful, and the views were spectacular. Breakfast had many options, which changed daily, as well as eggs cooked to your preference. I highly recommend this gem on the hill."

"The property is stunning!!! The views are indescribable - you have to see for yourself to really experience. Traveled with group of 6 - late 50s, early 60s (good physical shape overall)....I will say that there are TONS of steps to get anywhere and if you are unable to do a lot of steps (I mean TONS) - this is not the property for you. If you are able to do steps you have to see this place! One thing that I'll remember is Eduardo helping us check in saying "this is your home for your stay.....treat it as such and enjoy all that the property offers"......The snack bar is meh. The breakfast buffet more than satisfying...."
