Be warned this is not a 4* hotel officially, despite the ratings on some websites - and this shows with the lack of customer service and amenities.
The room is protected from the traffic noise (on the 8th floor at least), but is not soundproof at all inside - we heard our neighbour laughing and talking on the phone in the next room and if you have a room by the entrance of your floor, there is a heavy fireproof door after the lifts which you will hear every closing of and your room door will rattle from it. We requested a change of room, but were met with an unsympathetic and unhelpful receptionist (a guy with dark hair that worked on the 19th May night) who didn't even offer an apology and looked very bothered we had even asked this of him.
Toiletries offered were only a 3-in-1 hand/body/hair wash - would have brought more of my own if I had known in advance. Also shower design means water gets outside shower area as there is no curtain or cubicle door. Service was more like serviced apartments and we had to go to reception to collect basic items as they do not deliver to your room or borrow from bar next door yourself. No room service options either.
Comfortable for a cheaper, quick stay in a nice, central area with interesting modern decor, but do not expect 4* level rooms or service.
