"This was a great location, in the middle of a Mall. Target,Ross, Michaels, Sephora..plenty of eateries. The room was clean and spacious, great King size bed, the air conditioning was excellent as well. The gym didn’t have any towels or cleaning wipes. I had to bring my own and the elevators didn’t match the cleanliness of the property. Overall I would stay again, the staff was very helpful and pleasant."
"This is a great place to stay. Everything is right there from the Mountain Coaster, Water Park, heated pool, hot tub and sky ride. Will definitely go back."
"The Troy is an unique hotel property which has only been open a little over a month after extensive renovations by Wyndham. It has many nice amenities notably the restaurant & bar in the hotel.
PROS:
Restaurant was excellent. Food outstanding. Service exemplary. Drinks superb. Atmosphere was top rate.
Room looked nice. Layout was stylish.
Bathroom was very nice and accessible. Towels very soft. Didn't care for the view of the plumbing under the sink.
Staff was Very helpful and nice. They made sure we had everything needed. Front desk people held the door while luggage was brought in and out of the hotel. The luggage carts were best I've ever used although not readily accessible needing to be gotten by the staff.
CONS
Elevators are slow
Why have a Kurig in the room with all the coffee & cups on the bedside night table? Had to move it to the desk to accommodate my CPAP.
Why no trash basket in the bathroom. Having to walk out to the room to discard things from the bathroom was inconvenient.
Why only one set of robe, slippers, and other room amenities for a two person occupancy?
The bed was HARD. NOT easy to rest on. Like sleeping on a padded sheet of plywood. We woke up multiple times during the night and were rather sore in the morning.
TV not working. Had some odd connection issues after we first tried to use it.
Plugged phone into USB port on the night table lamp and it didn't Fully charge overnight. Only reached 78%.
Who charges $50 for a late check out??!!"
