"The villa (Marianna) was exquisite. Overlooking Istron Bay and the Istron Hotel, the view was breathtaking. We were able to use the hotel’s amenities including beach chairs and umbrellas, which was nice. Dimitry was a great host and available to answer questions when they came up. "Stunning accomodation, very modern, very clean. 2 zone ac (in sleeping room and living room in the 2 room apt) great service and availability on whats app for questions. Checkin Done through a webform and unique key code for access. (No physical key needed) parking lot just outside with fair prices. (Other business) 2 minutes walk to city center and the lake. Will definitiv look for moncasa next trip to agios nikolaos. If other apt hotels could work like this traveling would be more enjoyable....

"My husband and I went to Stella Island for our honeymoon. We had an amazing experience. We stayed in the Grand Overwater Bungalow, which was absolutely beautiful. Staying in that room gives you some perks around the hotel. The food was excellent and felt as though we were at fine dining restaurants for every meal. Truly an amazing hotel and experience. We've already agreed that we would go back for our anniversary. Highly reccomend this hotel if youre looking for a romantic, peaceful and luxurious place to stay in Crete!"

Royal & Imperial Belvedere Resort - All inclusive

"The resort was very beautiful. The staff went above & beyond whenever requests were made for the rooms for the guests including if there was a minor issue with anything in the room. Everything was handled immediately without any issues or delays which I loved. The resort was very technologically advanced which was also very nice. It overlooked the ocean & was so spacious that it never felt crowded or that you needed space. I loved the shops at the resort so you could buy clothes or souvenirs since the airline lost our luggage. I was able to find something nice to wear to do a day trip to Santorini. There’s a spa on the resort so make sure you schedule an appointment with Paulina. Her team was great. The resort does need to provide better supervision early bird options for the guests for when they need to leave super early for tours. What is currently offered doesn’t work. You need to provide croissants, danishes or muffins the yogurt & some grain looking thing is not appetizing or filling. Or maybe provide the guests with the option of ordering food to be picked up at the main dining room. The food was just okay, it needed seasoning so it didn’t taste bland & better food options. The food wasn’t appetizing so I wasn’t able to eat much and went home starving. I was upset about that because people said the food was amazing. They must have been drunk. I loved all the entertainment they provided at night. It was very entertaining. The pillows & bed linens were comfy. ❤️"

"Gorgeous property with immaculate amenities! We got a balcony room with ocean view and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were modern and upscale design with marble showers and floors. Opportunity for food and drinks at the main building and by the pool. The all inclusive dining was of great quality, and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this resort. Also, they are very family friendly."

"Our first visit to Elounda Mare was in May 1987, and returning again in May 2026 felt like reconnecting with an old friend. The hotel still retains its unique charm, elegance and warm hospitality that made us fall in love with it all those years ago. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, with freshly painted surroundings giving the property a lovely refreshed feel. While some fixtures and fittings would now benefit from an upgrade, this in no way detracted from the wonderfully relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We stayed in a One Bedroom Superior Suite with the most enchanting view across the stunning Mirabello Bay - waking up to that panorama every morning was truly magical. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional. Special thanks to the amazing concierge Ioanna, who went above and beyond to help with every request, and to the ever-helpful night receptionist Mikhalis for his kindness and professionalism. It was also a pleasure meeting the interesting new manager, whose enthusiasm for the hotel was very evident. The food and beverage team were excellent throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the cocktail reception and the delightful Fish Night at the Yacht Club Restaurant. Our favourite dining experience, however, was at the Japanese restaurant Sumosan, which was absolutely outstanding. After 39 years, Elounda Mare still offers timeless charm, genuine warmth and unforgettable views. We very much hope to return soon."

"Excellent location, walking distance to Plaka and a short car ride to Elounda. The property is well maintained and enjoys a private beach. The only negative experience was the overwhelming kids on the beach and the breakfast areas despite the dedicated adults only areas which were not respected by guests nor enforced by the staff."
