It’s a beautiful newer hotel. Rooms are spacious and shower/bathroom is really nice. You can walk to restaurants and great breakfast at Kaiser down the street. They also have a nice little bar with great drinks

Avoid. We checked in having booked a 4 person room (2 adults and 2 children). When we arrived the lady checking us in told us that there wasn't a 4 person room available so they would give us a sofa bed. When we got to the room the sofa bed was only a single (in additind hadn't double bed) and hadnt been made up. I went to question this, I was told they would come and put a second sofa bed in. The same staff members then came to the room to make up the first sofa bed for us while we went out for a walk. We came back a couple of hours later and there was still no second sofa bed. At this point it was gone 9pm and my children were very tired. When I questioned the bed situation again at Reception a male member of staff was incredibly rude and told me to take it up with Expedia who apparently sell 4 person rooms when the hotel isn't able to cater for that. I questioned why the hotel's booking system didn't cancel these bookings with the man on Reception who couldn't give me an answer and made some comment about Expedia being able to sell whatever they want which is out of the hotel's control. I also asked him why we hadn't been told when we checked in that the room wouldn't accommodate 4 and he said most people just let their youngest child sleep in bed with them rather than raise the issue (my youngest is nearly 6 so not small anymore). I pointed out that was for me to decide especially when I had paid for a room to accommodate 4 of us. When I asked to speak to a manage

Pour le prix, vraiment pas dingue. Personnel à l'accueil justement pas tres accueillant. Vue de la fenêtre sur un terrain vague. 19 euros pour le parking, c'est hors de prix. Et vraiment peu de places disponibles autour pour se garer gratuitement. Le coin est safe.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind gross und gut ausgestattet. Auch die Sauberkeit ist super. Leider ist das Personal maximal unmotiviert und geht überhaupt nicht auf den Gast zu. Man hat das Gefühl, dass man stört. Auch hat sich das Personal vor uns gestritten.Es ist sehr schade, aber ich komme wieder, weil das Hotel ansonsten super ist.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Vienna by Wyndham Freiburg insgesamt sehr genossen. Das Hotel bietet eine moderne, stilvolle Atmosphäre und liegt verkehrsgünstig – ideal für einen Familienaufenthalt in Freiburg. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich den hervorragenden Service: Aufgrund eines Buchungsfehlers über Expedia (es wurde eine falsche Zimmeroption angezeigt), zeigte sich das Hotel sehr kulant und lösungsorientiert. Uns wurde unkompliziert ein Schlafsofa sowie ein zusätzliches Beistellbett für unsere drei Kinder kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt – das war wirklich großartig und hat unseren Aufenthalt deutlich angenehmer gemacht. Das Personal wat stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch der allgemeine Zustand des Hotels war sehr ansprechend. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt betrifft die Sauberkeit des Zimmers: Die Handtücher waren leider nicht ganz frisch, und es lagen noch ein paar Haare auf dem Boden. Das trübte den ansonsten sehr guten Eindruck ein wenig, war aber kein gravierender Mangel. Insgesamt können wir das Vienna by Wyndham Freiburg definitiv weiterempfehlen – besonders Familien werden den aufmerksamen Service zu schätzen wissen.

Gute Lage für Aktivitäten

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe einer Straßenbahnhaltestelle, von der man 15-20 min in die bzw. Zum Bahnhof benötigt. In der direkten Umgebung des Hotels sind verschiedene Restaurants und Verbrauchermärkte. Aufgrund unserer Fensterfront zur Südseite war es selbst im April sehr warm im Zimmer. Für die nicht richtig funktionierende Klimatisierung gibt einen es Abzug, da das Schlafen so unangenehm war.

Stylishes Hotel

Das Zimmer ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und geräumig, ebenso das Bad mit dem Schwarzwaldmädel auf den Fliesen.Gute Betten.Es gab 2 Mineralwasserflaschen auf dem Zimmer, leider fehlten die Gläser, so haben wir aus den Zahnputzgläsern aus dem Bad getrunken. Den Kühlschrank haben wir sehr geschätzt. Beim großen TV hätte ich mir Streaming- Dienste gewünscht. Soweit war das Zimmer ruhig, nur morgens und abends waren laute Stimmen und Türknallen zu hören. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es wurde auch stets nachgefüllt. Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr schön, stylish und mit angenehmer Musik. Die Lyrics von " Hotel California" findet man auf Holz verewigt im ganzen Erdgeschoß sowie in den Liften - sehr schön! Trotz city- tax gibt es keine Gästekarte mit inkludierten Öffis u.a., wie sonstwo üblich. Das ist in Zeiten der Mobilitätswende sehr schade, da das Hotel mit den Öffis sehr gut zu erreichen ist.
