"Our experience at this property was extremely disappointing due to the unacceptable cleanliness of both rooms we were given. The first room was visibly unsanitary- the floor was sticky, and there were crumbs, dirt, hair, and general filth throughout. We reported this to the front desk and were given a key to another room. The staff member did not inspect the new room or verify that it was clean, and unfortunately, the second room was just as dirty as the first. Given the condition of both rooms, I contacted corporate immediately, as it was evident that cleanliness is not a priority at this location. After doing so, the manager emailed us with statements that were blatantly false. They claimed they had shown us the second room and that we confirmed it was satisfactory, neither of which happened. They also stated we waited several hours to raise our concerns, when in reality I notified the front desk within 15 minutes, and called corporate within 15 minutes of entering the second room. Not only was the property in unacceptable condition, but the manager chose to provide inaccurate information rather than address the issue professionally. I have escalated this matter again to corporate, though I am not confident any meaningful action will be taken. If you are looking for a clean, well-maintained room, I strongly recommend avoiding this property. We skipped the free breakfast, as we did not trust the food's cleanliness given the overall lack of sanitation observed at the motel."

"We were only there for a few hours on a layover, but the staff was courteous in the room was very clean."

"The room was awful. To start, light could be seen through the side and underneath the door. Any size insect could havw crawled in. The floor boards had huge gaps between them. The chair had a huge rip and stain on the cushion. The bed was like sleeping on a stone slab and we were very itchy and had several bug bites. The walls had holes in them. Some holes were filled and not sanded or painted. Some weren't filled at all. I refused to take a shower or bath because there were holes and cracks where the shower surround met the tub. Also you could see "

"Shower floor was dirty, shoe marks visible; mattress had multiple stains along the edges and fitted sheet didn’t cover the whole mattress. We were in the hotel for about 15 hours and didn’t need to use the shower or amenities so it was fine for us. A clean shower would have prompted a 5 star review. "

"This is the perfect hotel for early morning flights out of CLE. With breakfast included and a free shuttle to the airport, you really can't go wrong. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming at the front counter, especially Shannon. She goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. This will always be my go-to. "

"Booked a room with two queen beds but the room had two full beds. Fitness center was closed and locked. Breakfast was lacking, barely any food at 8:00am till 10:00am. Internet was slow. Cleaning staff kept trying to get us to leave before check out. "

"We had a clean, comfortable, quiet, and very large room (with two bathrooms) during our stay at the South Ridge Inn. While the hotel itself is in reasonably good physical condition, there are many visible signs of wear and tear, including scuff marks, some chipped and peeling paint, and rust on the metal tissue dispensers in the bathrooms. Many of the machines in the breakfast are are partly or completely disabled."
