Beach Resorts in French Pyrénées

"This hotel is fine and the staff is kind—but the rooms are very dated and ‘beige’. There is a fridge but no kettle or coffee maker. The furniture is old and a bit depressing. The linens were clean and comfortable, but everything else felt very dated and old. It’s a nice location within walking distance to beaches, but everything in Collioure is in walking distance to beaches. It’s nice that there’s parking, but I was told that if I move my car to take a day trip, I wousl lose my parking spot,...

"Perfect base for wonderful Collioure. Beds were comfy (incl sofa bed, like 2 singles!), amazing soundproof so very quiet, air-con, enough kitchen equipment to self-cater simply, stunning high up pool which was well-kept, friendly and helpful hotel staff. 10 mins walk from town, near enough to pop in to shop/
