Des travaux à l. Hôtel... Et aucune info. Échafaudage avec ouvriers devant la fenêtre. Jusqu'à 17h30 et dès 8h15! Pas de petits déjeuner.

I would have liked to be informed that breakfast was not included - either when checking in or by the waiter. Paying 30 CHF for a cup of coffee and a roll is certainly too much.

NH Hotel, good for business in Fribourg

Hotel is in the centre of town. The carpark out front is free from 18:30 - 08:00 and then 1CHF p/h. Hotel is fine with good breakfast and the rooms are a reasonable sized, modern and clean. Lift is pretty slow The mattresses on the bed(s) need to be replaced, they are U-shaped due to use and hence not the most comfortable. I would stay here again, options in Fribourg are limited.

Ich hörte den Zimmernachbarn schnarchen...

Ein in die Jahre gekommener, potthässlicher Plattenbau. Das Zimmer war klein und ringhörig. Ich hörte den Nachbarn schnarchen, als ob er in meinem Bett schlafen würde. Nur eine dünne Verbindungstür trennte mich vom Fremden im Nachbarzimmer. Ein neues Zimmer wollte man mir nicht geben. Bereits um 6:00 Uhr morgens begannen die lauten Reinigungsarbeiten unter meinem Fenster. Nie wieder.

das haus hat seine besten jahre hinter sich, alles ist etwas runtergekommen, keine klimaanlage, fenster sind drigend renovierungsbedürftig. keine gute lage, direkt vor dem eingang ist ein döner imbiss und ein ein club. zugang zur tiefgarage geht nur über einen kilometerlangen umweg. aber freundliches personal. wir werden dort nicht nochmal übernachten.

Eher nicht wieder

Das Personal war sehr nett und es ist vom Bahnhof schnell zu Fuss erreichbar. 4 Sterne ist das Hotel aber auf keinen Fall. Unser Zimmer war sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Es roch alt und abgestanden. Eines der beiden Betten war im katastrophalen Zustand. Die Matratze war derart durchgelegen, dass wir das "Loch" in der Mitte versucht haben mit einer Decke zu stopfen. Es war auch ohne Barbetrieb laut und vor allem sehr warm. Es gab keine Klimaanlage und der kleine Tischventilator den wir im Schrank gefunden haben war kaputt. Wie sind nach einer 4 stündigen Nacht, durchgeschwitzt und übermüdet, vorzeitig gegangen. Für 130,- die Nacht zu teuer.

Problem was it was 36c both days and the hotel is not air conditioned - they kindly changed me to mountain view room but did not realize it would get full sun all day. First day my room was 40c - I had a small fan and had to sleep with a damp towel over me for comfort. Day 2 I was out all day but returned to a room like an oven. Would not recommend this hotel in the height of summer. Staff were great.

Es hat ins Zimmer geregnet, da die Fenster uralt sind! Man hört die Leute im Nachbarzimmer und der Lift hat nicht richtig funktioniert, so dass meine Tochter stecken geblieben ist!

I'd stay there again

The service at NH was great, and you can't beat the view in the mountain view rooms. Be sure to carry your key card around everywhere. You can't access the elevator without it. If you're in it with other people, only one can swipe at a time to get to their floors, so be prepared to wait a while. The beds were comfortable, and the room was a bit larger than what I've seen with other comparably priced hotels.
